There are no roads into Tortuguero — the journey ends at a river dock, and getting you to that dock is our job. Your private driver collects you at Liberia Airport and crosses the country, from Guanacaste’s dry cattle plains into the green Caribbean lowlands, where farmland and banana country line the final stretch to La Pavona.
